Snow day in Virginia Beach

some random shots of virgina beach at around 8am...we got a little more snow throughout the day - and there is an expectation of 1-3 inches more overnight. It was nice to wake up to a blanket of white - especially since we had nowhere to go...

Our Wild Thing

Tony is responsible for the slicked back hair-do on Nicholas...and Samantha is one of Nicholas' favorite friends at daycare...All in all, Nicholas had a great time at his second birthday party. We appreciate everyone who made the trip to see him and help us celebrate!

The 30 week belly shot

So, this is what I look like at 30 weeks pregnant. (Don't mind the dirty dishes...we had just finished with dinner...) We had an ultrasound done tonight and both of the twins are over 3lbs now. Our girl is 3lbs4oz and our boy is 3lbs2oz (all aproximate, of course). According the the technician, everything is looking good. It's hard to believe that in just over a month (with some luck) we'll have two new babies in the family! Life will be interesting and busy - that is for sure!

Tomorrow our boy turns 2! We'll have a small celebration with him at home in anticipation of his bigger party to follow....

The New Van

I promise to post some better photos once we can get outside without the rain and take some interior shots and a side view - but the new ride was purchased last night. We love it and know it will come in handy when the twins arrive! Christmas photos and family photos to follow soon...maybe via snapfish since we took a few!

Our girl is on top, with the B on the left side. I think you can see her profile pretty well from this photo (the top of her head is on the left). The top of the boy's head is on the right (second photo). It's a little harder to see that profile but you can see that he has his mouth wide open and you can barely see his hand going in...

Jingle Bell Scare

One minute, Nicholas was happily jingling the jingle bell and the next, he was showing me how snuggly it fit around his index finger. It was so tight, that we weren't able to just pull it off - not even with a little bit of vaseline. So, Tony had to get some tools. At first, Nicholas wasn't too bothered by it but after a little bit of effort on Tony's part - Nicholas began to realize he couldn't get his finger back right away and he started to cry. Once the bell was successfully cut away from the finger and some smarties were dished out - the world was a better place again.

Move over Indy 500 - there is a new track in town

Amazingly, Leah can fit on a toy that is suited for children up to 3 years old. Nicholas loves to ride his bulldozer in circles around the house. He'll tell you that he wants to play "beep beep." Leah gets a nice workout when he wants to play! The hard part is getting to him to unwind and start thinking about going down for the night!!!
